Epoxy Compound KB BOND 5001 AND HARDNER KB 100


GENERAL	This system is Two Component Epoxy based compound used filter paper application of Automotive and Industrial Filters. It is ready to use filled system. It cures at room Temperature and gives Sags free sealing.
APPLICATION	This system has the following advantages of: good adhesion for metal to paper and metal to metal, low shrinkage and hence good sealing resistance to lube oil, petrol and diesel. It cures at 100⁰ C± 10⁰ C X 10 Mints.

Appearance	White pasty material
Specific Gravity at 30°C	1.6± 0.1
Viscosity at 30°C	70±20 sec.
Storage Life (Min.)	Store in cool and dry place away from direct sun light 90 days away from direct sunlight or heat and in original containers. Material will be thicken on storage but adhesion will remain unaffected .Use KB THINNER, as required.

	HARDNER-KB 100
Appearance	Clear Yellowish amine base liquid.
Density at 25°C	0.98
Storage Life (Minimum)	90 days
MIXING RATIO	KB BOND 5001 -100 PARTS HARDNER KB 100 – 5 PARTS
DIRECTION FOR USE	As the mixing ratio is critical the resin has to be thoroughly mixed before use. The two -components are mixed homogenously in the above proportion in a separate container. Important Note: In case the curing is done in an oven or on a hot plate the temperature should not exceed 110⁰ C under any circumstance.
